The St Louis Light is a Ghost Train that haunts an old abandoned railway line in Saskatchewan, Canada. Locals say the ghostly apparition can still be seen almost every night. It takes the form of a bright yellowish light with a smaller red light beside it.
Years ago a hapless St Louis conductor who was struck down and decapitated by a passing train while doing a routine check of the tracks. It’s said the bright, yellowish light belongs to the old steam locomotive pulling his train. The smaller, red one, is the lantern he’s using in a futile search for his head. He wanders up and down the tracks, night after night, but never finds it.
