The famous scary clown music is Entrance of the Gladiators by Czech composer Julius FuÄÃk. Later, it became popular in America under the title “Thunder and Blazes”, when it was used in the circus to introduce the clowns. Since most children are scared of clowns, it’s only natural that this creepy little tune would become associated with horror movies.
