The scary Demon Face in the Exorcist is nicknamed “Captain Howdy” by the little girl, but its real name is Pazuzu. This is actually a real demon from Ancient Mesopotamia.

2. Demons (1985)

In one of the most disturbing scenes in the movie, this demon bursts out of a woman’s back. When the movie was released on VHS this image was on the cover and scared a lot of people who were browsing through video rental stores.
