Here are some riddles that are difficult to understand. You may have to spend longer trying to figure out what the solution is.
Riddle 1. Bus
A family was taking a journey through Colorado on a cross-country bus. The parents were bringing their children to visit some relatives who lived in a remote rural area. When the bus reached the foot of a mountain, the children began complaining that they were hungry. The parents decided to get off the bus at the next shop or restaurant they passed.
After a few minutes, they spotted a little roadside diner where they could all grab a bite to eat, so the wife pushed the stop button. The bus pulled over to the side of the road and the family got off, one by one.
Inside the diner, the parents and children were happily eating dinner, when they happened to look up at the TV. There was a news report on the screen that said a terrible accident had just taken place nearby. A bus had been crushed by falling rocks and everybody on board had been killed.
The parents were shocked. It was the same bus they had just been traveling on.
“I wish we had never gotten off that bus…” said the wife.
When the husband heard this, he spat out his food.
“What are you saying?” he shouted. “How could you say that?”
Then he thought for a second.
“Oh, I see,” he said. “You’re right. We shouldn’t have gotten off.”
Why did they say this?
Riddle 2. Soldier
At the end of the war in Iraq, an American soldier made a phone call to his parents.
“Hi Mom and Dad,” he said. “They’ll be sending me home in a few days. When I get home, do you think I could stay with you guys for a while?”
His parents were overjoyed at the news that he would be coming home.
“Of course!” cried his father. “You can live with us for as long as you like.”
“One of my buddies here has no place to go”,” he said. “Would you mind if he came to stay with us for a while too?”
“That’s fine, son” said his mother. “Your friends are always welcome in our house.”
“But, there’s something you should know”, said the son. “My buddy stepped on a land mine. He lost his arms and legs.”
There was a long silence on the other end of the line.
“Well, that would be fine for a few days,” said his mother. “But caring for a disabled person is hard. It would be a big burden on your father and I. Perhaps you could find him a nursing home or some sort of veteran’s hospital instead.”
Without another word, the son hung up the phone.
The next day, the parents received a phone call from their son’s commanding officer. He regretfully informed them that their son had committed suicide. The parents were devastated.
A few days later, the son’s corpse was flown back to the USA and his parents were there to collect the body. When they opened the coffin and saw their son, they both broke down crying.
Why?
Riddle 3. Public Bathroom
I was walking home last night, when I felt the urge to poop. I had to use a creepy, old public bathroom. It was down at the end of a street full of abandoned houses. Very spooky. I went into the bathroom, opened the door of the first stall and peeked inside. There was graffiti on the walls. On the right, it said “This bathroom is haunted” and on the left it said “This writing will change”. Creepy, huh?
I went into the stall, pulled down my pants and sat on the toilet. While I was pooping, I started thinking about the strange graffiti. Maybe I’m superstitious, but I just had to take another look. On my right, it said “This bathroom is haunted” and on my left it said “This writing will change”. Hmmm…. So if the writing didn’t change, that means the bathroom isn’t haunted, right?
Riddle 4. Lottery
I really miss my sister. I’m 8 years old and my sister is 12. Ever since I can remember, our family has always been poor. My sister and I had to wear the same clothes every day and the kids at school used to make fun of us. Last year, my sister ran away from home. Even though we shared a bedroom, she never warned me she was going to leave. If I’d known, I probably would have begged her to take me with her. When I woke up in the morning, my mother told me my sister was gone. My parents said they are still searching for her, but I don’t think they’re putting in a lot of effort.
Not long after that, my parents won the lottery. My mom said she found the winning ticket in a dumpster. When I saw all the money in the briefcase, I thought our problems were over. I was wrong. My parents immediately went on a spending spree. My dad bought himself a new car and a big TV. My mom bought herself some nice new dresses and lots of jewelery. They didn’t buy me anything.
“What happens when all the money runs out,” I asked them.
“Don’t worry,” replied my mom. “We’ll still have you.”
I guess that means they love me. Doesn’t it?
Riddle 5. Parents
A young girl was locked in a coalshed. She was crying. Through her tears, she noticed an old lamp sitting among the pieces of coal. She picked it up and began rubbing off the coal dust.
Suddenly a genie appeared and said, “I will grant you one wish. Choose wisely, for one wish is all I can grant.”
“Please make my parents disappear!” cried the girl. “I really hate them!”
“Your wish is my command,” said the genie. “Go to sleep tonight. Before you wake up in the morning, your wish will be granted.”
The next morning, the girl woke up and went downstairs. She found her mother and father sitting at the kitchen table, eating breakfast. The girl immediately regretted making the wish. She ran out to the coalshed and began rubbing the lamp.
The genie appeared and asked, “Are you happy now?”
“Please let me take back the wish I made yesterday”, begged the girl.
“I am sorry,” said the genie. “Once a wish has been granted, it cannot be taken back.”
The young girl began crying bitterly.
Riddle 6. Identical Twins
There were two young girls, named Mandy and Melissa, who were identical twins. They lived with their parents and older brother in a large mansion on the edge of town. Everybody was jealous of the girls because their father was rich and he bought them everything they wanted.
One dark night, the girls were kidnapped. When they awoke, they found themselves blindfolded and tied to chairs. The girls were extremely frightened and began to cry.
Suddenly, Mandy heard a high-pitched voice whispering in her ear. It was the kidnapper.
“I have contacted your parents and I am demanding one million dollars ransom,” he said. “If you try to escape, I will kill Melissa.”
Then, Melissa heard the kidnapper whispering in her ear.
“I have contacted your parents and I am demanding one million dollars ransom,” he said. “If you try to escape, I will kill Mandy.”
Riddle 7. Ball Bearing
A man was working in his toolshed when his son came in crying.
“What’s wrong, Son,” asked the father.
“Daddy, I was playing marbles with the other boys at school,” whimpered the little boy. “One of them stuffed a ball bearing in my ear and it won’t come out.”
“Don’t worry son,” said the father. “I’m sure I have something here that will get it out.”
The father’s favorite hobbies were science and woodwork. His workshop was filled with all manner of contraptions, gizmos and inventions. He gazed around his toolshed and his eyes settled on a super-strong electro-magnet he had built himself.
“This machine here is a magnet,” he told his son. “The ball bearing is metal, so when I turn this machine on, it will yank the ball bearing out.”
The man placed his son’s ear up against the magnet. He flicked the switch and there was a loud clang. His son crumpled to the floor, killed instantly.
How did the son die?
hahaha tha last one z funny wat a stupid dad
#5 that’s a sucky way to find out you’re adopted
This is what I think are the answers:
1)When they got off the bus they delayed the bus and if they didn’t get off then the bus would have gone past before the rocks had fallen.
2)He was the one who stepped on the landmine and lost his arms and legs
3)When he sat down the writing changed and was on the other side.
4)They sold the girl for the lottery ticket.
This one is a complete guess 5)She was adopted and she forgot to say ‘adoptive’ so her real parents died.
6)How would he know there names? He was their brother.
7)The ball was in the other ear. He put the machine to the wrong ear and it pulled his brain out and killed him.
#5 On my opinion her wish made it so that she was never born, so she didn’t sleep in a coal shed because her used to be parents are rich without a daughter
2: Duh if my son just died i would cry… they were sad
Oh and #5 the (step) parents are abusive and lock the child in the coal shed. The child doesn’t know that she is adopted so the next day plays out like any other and she realises she made her real parents disappear so the wish was useless
There is no lottery ticket in #4… That was a lie they killed the daughter for the insurance money.. (or there was a ticket and they found it in the trash when they were disposing the sisters body).. They still have the other sibling to kill for insurance when the money runs out… The brother is the kidnapper.. Someone said u can’t change your vocal cords?? Anyone can make their voice high or low pitch at any time… And the fact that they mention this probably indicates its a man trying to disguise his voice
These are my answers to the pop quiz
1.There were people inside and if they didnt stop the bus wouldnt of been crush and it would of saved a lot of people. On my opinion about this story , they never mentioned anything about people and if they were driving the buds or were passengers the other passengers wouldnt have to wait just so they can have food it just wouldnt be fair.
2. The son had his arms and legs chopped off and faked about this guy so the parents would be tested if they want him to be in their home evn with the arms and legs chopped off but they said ” go to a hospital ” so he commit suicide. In my opinion I think he shouldnt of commit suicide because they could of said that because he was a friend and they dont care about him as much as they love him.
3.When he was sitting on the toilet the directions will change so he thought that they were still the same when actually they do change. In my opinion I think this dumb guy doesnt know his left and right.
4.The parents sold the girls sister for the lottery ticket and wants to sell the other sister too. In my opinion I think these parents are crazy and cruel to sell their own children and what if they didnt win the lottery and sold their child for nothing what would they do try get her back to sell her again.
5.She made her parents disappear therefore she will not be born. In my opinion I have a question wasnt she locked in the coal shed so how could she get out.
6.The brother kidnapped the twins because he is the only one who could know where they live and tell who is who plus it said that the father and mother only gave the girls money not the older brother. In my opinion the brother is a phyco money maniac and could of just asked the parents I mean its not like they will say no because he is their son.
7.OMG the father did the wrong ear making the ball bearing go through his brain making him be killed instantly. In my opinion I think the father is really dumb because he could of atleast asked which ear.
Are all of these right?
seeya bannana phone
Actually, Everyone Has Gotten #7 Wrong!
If You Read Carefully You’ll See That It Gives Many Clues-
The Father Loved Science And Woodwork(woodwork can also be building)
There was a LOUD clang (a little ball bearing could not make a LOUD clang)
The son crumpled to the floor (just missing his brain or just having a ball bearing fly through his brain would in no way make his entire body crumple)
THE REAL ANSWER IS – The Boy Was A Robot ( a science project of his father) That Is Why When The Magnet Was Pressed To His Ear His Whole Internal System Was Pulled Out!
1) If they didn’t make the bus stop then the bus would have missed the rock, because of the time they wasted people died on that bus.
2) The son was disabled, he was just testing his parents.
3) When he turned and sat on the toilet the writing’s changed sides. (The guy is soooo stupid)
4)The parents sold the girl for the money.
5) PARENTS – When a couple gets married and have a baby.
The baby,or, the girl said that she want her parent’s to disappear, so when she said that, the next morning she disappeared because the PARENTS have given birth to her. PARENTS actually are not a particular person. PARENTS DEFINE YOU. If the wanted her PARENTS to disappear then she should have said their real names,EXAMPLE- John and Lisa.
6)It was her brother, he made a high pitched voice, it mentions how her father bought thing only for the twins not their older brother (ANYBODY CAN MAKE AN HIGH PITCH VOICE, IT DOESNT ON YOUR VOCALS AND OTHER S*#! )
7) The ball bearing was in his other ear and he pulled it out through the wrong side, thus causing it to pierce through is brain.
The graffiti signs DID change because he peeked inside and saw them then he had to TURN and sit when he saw them he saw one right one left just like he had BEFORE HE TURNED the sides appear to have stayed like they are but if he turned it would have been opposite sides that way they wouldn’t have changed. I know I’m right;) if u know what I mean :]
I still dont get #2.how could he possibly had killed himself if he’s the one with no arms or legs??
NUMBER 5- I think she actually went blind. Notice how it said she “found her parents.” That’s worded funny. Usually, you would probably just say she “saw” her parents. I agree with most of you about the rest of the answers.
Ok, so this is not exactly an answer for number 4. Its just a prediction for what will happen next. So, we all know that the parents sold their daughter for a lottery ticket. So they iddmeitaly went on a shopping spree. But they only bought stuff for themselves.(The parents) The boy asks what happens when the money runs out. The parents say don’t worry, we will still have you. I think that means that they might sell their son for another lottery ticket. That is why they didn’t buy any stuff for their son!
5. the girl was adopted?
4. The parents killed or sold her sister for $$$$$ :(
5. The parents were dead at the table. Omg wait! she wouldn’t exist right?
6. The girls were identical twins meaning it must have been their father or someone they knew that knew them apart.
3.) The writings DID switch positions because when he/she is facing the toilet, he/she has a different left and right from when he/she is sitting on the toilet. Am I right?
1) Either they cheated death and they would eventually be killed because you can’t cheat death, or if they hadn’t gotten off, the bus would still be moving because the rocks wouldn’t have come at that time.
2) The son was the cripled one and he committed suicide because his parents didn’t want him. It also doesn’t make since because if the son was the cripled one, why weren’t the parents notified.
3) There is no riddle there. The writings didn’t change sides and it was completely stupid.
4) The parents lied and sold the girl’s sister. What they meant by we still have you is: If they went bankrupt, they would sell her or eat her. 0_O
5) The girl disappeared instead because genies are supposed to grant three wishes, so it was opposite. Or the girl was adopted and her real parents disappeares. Or, when her parents disappeared, she got new parents by morning.
6) The kidnapper said it to the same sister meaning he was going to kill Mandy and Melissa. Or it could be something totally messed up and twisted.
7) Either the dad put the magnet on the wrong ear and the marble came through his brain and out of the other ear, or the marble was his brain.
NO, NO, NO!! IN RIDDLE NO. 6, IT WAS NOT THE BROTHER!
TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT THE VOICE WAS HIGH-PITCHED! AND EVEN IF THE STORY SAYS “HE” IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CULPRIT IS WEARING A MASK! HOWEVER, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MANIPULATE YOUR VOCAL CORDS, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!
7.) He put the magnet on the other side of his head, and the magnet went through his brain.
1)when the bus stopped the rocks fell.i$f they hadnt stopped, the bus would of passed in time
2)the boy was testing his parents because he was disabled
3)it changed sides when he sat down!
4)they would sell her 4 money?
5)the girl was adopted so her real parents dissapeared and she didnt know she was adopted
6)it was the brother because how would the kidnapper know their names and the brother didnt get what he wanted so he wanted revenge!
7)he put the magnet to the wrong ear and it went through the brain and when it did the CLANK noise,it hit the magnet?
Hmm, this is a nice change.
1.This is where Schroedinger’s catbox theorem enters the world of mystery! Had they not gotten out, then the bus still would’ve passed the rocks! However, since the family stopped at Diner X, they stalled the bus’ journey time and thus the rocks came tumbling down at the exact moment.
2.The parents thought that their son was talking about someone else, since he was using the third-person’s perspective when describing “himself”. Thus, he “created” the illusion that he did have a friend, where in fact he was talking about himself!
3.No, the bathroom is NOT haunted! I can state it as thus, when he first entered the bathroom, he saw the graffiti on the walls. Now, when he peeked inside, still the same perspective, the writings NEVER CHANGED. Therefore, I conclude that the bathroom stall is not haunted!
4. They never won the lottery! They simply said that to their daughter so she wouldn’t run away before THEY HARVESTED AND SOLD HER ORGANS.
5. The girl’s parents adopted her.
6. No, it was not the brother! Let us take into account that the person’s voice was high-pitched! Now, if their brother was younger, that would definitely make sense, HOWEVER carry two girls is difficult for a prepubescent boy, even if they were babies. So, I conclude that the one who “kidnapped” them was their own mother! I can conclude that because of this; the mother’s motive! Her motive was to teach the girls a lesson, probably because the girls were spoiled brats. Moreover, she actually was planning on releasing them! We never get any information on the story after the supposed kidnappings!
7. The ball bearing was in the other ear.
OMG i understand no.5!!! The girl went downstairs and saw her parents were still there. which means she was adopted and they didnt tell her. She wanted to meet her real parents so she asked the genie to take it back but he wouldn’t
I get the answer to no. 4!!!!!!! The parents sold the elder daughter. When the son asked them what would happen when the money ran out, they said “We’ll still have you.” So they are planning to sell him too.
1 If they didn’t stop the bus it wouldn’t been crushed
2 He was the disabled man
3 Yes it dous because it did changed just said the same on the wall on the left after it changed
4 No It Means they’ll sell you or eat you not love
5 they were invisble
6 He knew he couldn’t kill one another because he didnt know witch so he said it outloud so they would both hear
7 It was in the other ear and came out but fractured the brain or pulled the brain out
