The First Anniversary is a sad story about a boy and a girl who have been dating for a year. She has something she needs to tell him, but she is not sure how he will react.
One day, a teenage girl wanted to call her boyfriend. There was something she needed to tell him, but she was too nervous. They had been dating for a year and it was the first anniversary of the day they had met. Picking up her phone, she dialled his number with shaking fingers and waited for him to pick up. It seemed to take forever for him to answer the phone.
Girl: Hi.
Boy: Why are you calling me?
Girl: I wanted to tell you something.
Boy: Yeah? What?
Girl: I love you.
Boy: Yeah I know.
Girl: Really?
Boy: Yeah… Every one of my female friends tells me that every day.
Girl: Oh… But I thought I was your only female friend?
Boy: No… You’re my girlfriend… But I have other female friends… Why?
Girl: But when I say I love you, I really mean it… I love you.
Boy: Yeah I know you mean it… It’s just that you don’t need to tell me that you love me anymore because I already know it.
Girl: Do you love me?
Boy: I guess.
Girl: Because there’s something else I have to tell you…
Boy: What? Spit it out.
Girl: I’m pregnant.
Boy: (long pause) What do you mean?
Girl: I mean I have a bun in the oven… I’m knocked up…
Boy: (long pause) Really? Are you sure?
Girl: Yes. The test was positive. I’m pregnant.
Boy: Oh.
Girl: Isn’t there something you want to ask me?
Boy: Yeah… Is it mine?
Girl: Of course it’s yours!
Boy: I see.
Girl: So do you still want to meet up tonight?
Boy: Tonight?
Girl: Yes. Don’t you remember? It’s our anniversary…
Boy: Oh yeah. Well, then… I guess we should meet up.
Girl: Great. Where?
Boy: I don’t know… I’ll plan something. Maybe dinner and a movie.
Girl: OK.
Boy: I’ll pick you up after I get off work, so make sure you’re ready. I don’t want to wait around.
Girl: Ok. What time do you get off?
Boy: In 2 hours. I’ll have to go home and change clothes, which takes about 15-20 mintues…
Girl: Hey… I thought you didn’t have work today…
Boy: One of my co-workers called in sick.
Girl: Oh OK! So I’ll see you around 7:30 then?
Boy: Yeah! Goodbye.
Girl: Oh and Babe?
Boy: Yeah?
Girl: I love you!
Boy: I know. OK, my manager is like looking at me so yeah… I gotta go.
Girl: Ok bye.
Boy: Bye.
Two hours later, the boy drove to his girlfriend’s house. Parking his car in the driveway, he walked up to the door and rang the bell. When the girl opened the door, she was overjoyed to see him. She excitedly embraced him and kissed him on the cheek.
Girl: Hey!
Boy: Wassup…you ready?
Girl: Um… Wait… Let me get my bag and then we can go, OK?
Boy: Hurry up. I can’t wait all day.
That evening, they watched a movie at the local theater and then went for dinner at a fast food restaurant. Once they had finished eating their french fries, they headed back to the car.
Boy: Wait a second. I have a surprise for you.
Girl: Really?
Boy: But first I need you to wear this blindfold.
Girl: Why??!
Boy: If you peek, it will ruin the suprise.
Girl: What kind of suprise?
Boy: A really big one.
Girl: OK I’ll wear the blindfold, but only if you promise me that you will hold my hand while you’re driving.
Boy: I promise.
He placed the blindfold over the girl’s eyes and tied it tightly behind her head. Then, after making sure she couldn’t see a thing, he drove off into the night.
The girl had no idea where they were going, but because her boyfriend was holding her hand, she felt safe. After driving for almost 15 minutes, they came to a stop.
Boy: OK. We’re here!
Girl: Where?
Boy: Wait, don’t take off the blindfold. Let me walk you to the place!
Girl: What place?
Boy: Somewhere!
The boy took her by the arm and guided her down a narrow path. She could hear the gravel crunching beneath their feet and the wind was blowing through her hair. It was very cold, but because her boyfriend was holding her arm, she felt safe.
Girl: Baby…?
Boy: OK… Let me take off your blindfold.
Girl: Where are we?
He removed the blindfold and she opened her eyes. They were standing on a cliff overlooking the city. The view was simply beautiful. It was the exact spot where they had gone on their first date. The exact spot she had been standing when he first asked her to be his girlfriend. The girl was so overcome by emotion, that she burst into tears.
Girl: OMG…
Boy: Why are you crying?
Girl: I can’t believe you remembered… This is where you first asked me out…
The boy looked at his watch.
Boy: It’s about time…
Girl: About time for what?
Boy: You’ll see…
Just then, in the distance, she heard the Pop! Pop! Pop! sound of fireworks going off. As she watched breathlessly, they spread out across the moonlit sky and spelled out her name in lights. Tears were streaming down her cheeks.
Girl: I thought you forgot about our anniversary…
Boy: I wasn’t at work when you called me… I was planning this whole thing!
Girl: I can’t believe you planned all this for me. It’s beautiful.
Boy: I’ve just got one more surprise for you. Can you guess what it is?
Girl: What? Are you going to ask me to marry you?
Boy: Not exactly. Look down the cliff and tell me what you see…
Girl: I don’t see anything, just a lot of pointy rocks…
Boy: That’s right.
While she was distracted, the boy suddenly pushed her from behind. The girl lost her balance and toppled over the edge of the cliff. She fell to her death. The boy peered over the edge and watched as her broken body was tossed by the waves and dashed to pieces on the rocks below.
somewhat predictable but not bad
Wow that was horrible!!! He spent the whole day planning the fireworks and everything just to push her off a cliff!?!?!
Why? Oh why? Just break up with her. You didn’t have to LITERALLY break her heart.
(See what I did there?)
He probably killed her because she was pregnant and he didn’t wanna be a father still that’s counts as murdering two people that baby and the girl
I knew that his gonna kill her from the very beginning…And I didn’t even enjoy the story(Love Part) coz bf was very Rude…
That’s sad :/
And yo! there’s something called PROTECTION
