When Cher’s album, Heart of Stone, was released in 1989, the artwork featured an optical illusion on the album cover. It was painted by Octavio Ocampo and depicted Cher sitting beside a stone heart, creating the illusion of a skull.
This cover for Heart of Stone was quickly replaced by a normal picture of Cher, probably because so many people thought it was creepy. The original artwork is now a collector’s item.
