Lavender Lady

The Lavender Lady is a scary funny story about a flower lady who got sick and died in hospital.

There once was a pretty young woman who sold flowers by the side of the road. Her favorite flower was lavender. They called her The Lavender Lady.

One day, she was struck down by a mysterious illness. She was taken to the hospital, but none of the doctors could figure out what was wrong with her. The poor woman’s condition steadily grew worse and eventually, she died.

One night, the janitor was working late, mopping the darkened hallways of the hospital. All of the patients were asleep and it was deathly quiet.

Just then, he heard a faint sound.

He could smell the faint aroma of lavender. He remembered the flower lady who had died in the hospital only a few weeks before. The ward in which she passed away was at the end of the long dark hallway. A shiver ran down his spine and continued his mopping, trying not to think about it.

Psst…

He heard the sound again. This time it was louder and the scent of lavender was growing stronger. Feeling a bit scared, he started mopping faster, trying to finish his job quickly so he could go home.

As he continued down the hallway, he heard the sound again. It was louder and the air was now heavy with the aroma of lavender. The janitor was spooked. He couldn’t stop his knees from shaking. Then, he realized he was right outside the ward where the lavender lady had died.

Psst…

The sound was coming from behind the closed door of the ward. The janitor reached out with trembling hands and pushed the door open. The smell of lavender was so strong, it was overpowering.

He looked up…
