Lord Combermere’s Ghost is a famous ghost picture that was taken in 1891. Lord Combermere lived and died in Combermere Abbey. While all of the members of his household were attending his funeral, a man took a photograph in the library of the old abbey. When the picture was developed, the ghostly figure of a man could be seen sitting in the chair. It is believed to be the ghost of Lord Combermere.
