Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour is a supernatural thriller for young teens starring Rissa Walters. It was supposed to be the first in a series of Sarah Landon Mysteries, but it didn’t make a whole lot of money so unfortunately they won’t be making any sequels.
After the death of her close childhood friend, 17-year-old Sarah Landon goes to Pine Valley, where she stumbles on the small town’s dark secret. According to an odd and mysterious legend, a young man named David Baker, will be killed by his uncle’s ghost on his 21st birthday, which is that coming Monday. Sarah and David’s brother try to help him before his 21st birthday arrives.
Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour is a big-screen ghost story perfect for the whole family. Introducing the cute Rissa Walters as the curious Sarah Landon, this PG-rated supernatural mystery is sure to entertain young teens.
Scares include a weird old lady, a human skull, some shotgun blasts and a boatload of jump scares. It’s not amazing, but it works well as a PG rated horror movie.
