The Orphanage

The Orphanage is a scary ghost movie with a very creepy ending. The film was made in 2007 and is in Spanish language with English subtitles.

The Orphanage begins with a young girl who is adopted. Years later, she is a grown woman and has a son of her own. She returns to the orphanage where she spent her youth, intending to convert it into a home for disabled children.

A problem arises when young son tells her he has an imaginary friend who he intends to run away with. She dismisses this as childish talk but, after a party, she sees a mysterious boy in a sack mask, lurking in the halls of the old mansion. Later on, she discovers that her son is nowhere to be found.

In desperation, the mother goes to a psychic, hoping she can help find her missing son and try to unravel the mystery.
