Young Dracula was a British kids TV series based on the children’s book by Michael Lawrence. It was a whole new take on the Dracula story that lasted 2 seasons with a total of 27 episodes.

Young Dracula followed the misadventures of Vlad and Ingrid, who have moved to London from Transylvania with their father, Count Dracula.

Vlad would prefer to be a normal child rather than a vampire and the series follows his trials and tribulations as he tries to please his father but also resist the urge to drink people’s blood. Wanting to fit in with his classmates in his new school, Vlad befriends another outsider named Robin who wants to become more vampiric.

1. Count Dracula is disappointed that his young son Vlad doesn’t want to follow in his footsteps.

2. On Vlad and Ingrid’s first day of school they meet their teacher, Mr. Van Helsing.

3. Vlad and Ingrid’s mother Magda shows up, after an argument with her current boyfriend.

4. The Count becomes addicted to daytime TV and decides that making a movie would be easy.

5. When his kids are suspended from school, the Count tries home schooling.

6. A toothache makes Vlad think that his fangs are starting to grow. Ingrid asks Robin to become her boyfriend.

7. A mummy with a vendetta escapes from Dracula’s castle and heads for town, looking for the children.

8. Vlad’s plans to have a normal birthday party are ruined when his grandparents arrive.

9. The Count is delighted when a cockroach epidemic forces the Branaugh family to temporarily move into the castle.

10. Young Vlad wants to try out for the school rugby team, but his father won’t have it.

11. Vlad and Robin take their dads camping for Father’s Day, but the men have an argument that may end in a duel.

12. Halloween with the Dracula family and the Van Helsing family.

13. It’s time for Vlad to undergo a vampire test.

14. To find a new wife, the Count holds a vampire Hunt Ball.
